A large number of people, who lived in areas of active combat, lost their homes and were forced to leave their residences, leaving them without shelter and jobs. 

The “District #1” charitable fund in collaboration with the “Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe” charity jointly arranged the allocation of 13 free land plots in the village of Staryi Bykov on Lugova Street for the construction of 13 new frame houses for internally displaced persons (IDPs) families. This happened thanks to the collaboration of authorities of the Novobasanska community in the Chernihiv region.

These new homes are furnished and equipped with lighting, autonomous water supply and heating systems, and plumbing.

Additionally, the community committed to providing job opportunities for each family, matching their qualifications, such as family doctors and pediatricians, English teachers, accountants, coaches, machinists, electricians, lawyers, notaries, and choreographers.
