Furnishing 26 houses for the new settlement for IDPs and the destroyed homes of residents in the Novobasanska community
Every individual forced to flee their home and lose their housing due to active military actions in their region deserves to live in maximally comfortable conditions. We’re not talking about temporary modular solutions, but fully autonomous, ready-to-use buildings.
This vision was brought to life in collaboration with our financial partner “Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe.” We developed a design project and procured furniture, plumbing, and autonomous heating systems for 26 houses, including 13 for IDP families in the village of Staryi Bykov and 13 for residents of the Novobasanska community in the Chernihiv region.
As a result, each house is equipped with a kitchen-living room, an office corner, bedrooms, autonomous heating (wood-burning stoves), plumbing, well, and a boiler.
