Surviving the cold: 50 wood-burning stoves, 50 generators, fuel, and more
During the harsh winter of 2022-2023, Ukraine endured relentless shelling and widespread infrastructure destruction. This devastation led to the loss of heating, electricity, and communication for countless families. In these rough conditions it was extremely important for us to provide autonomy for private houses in the Kyiv region, allowing them to survive and function without relying on central services.
Together, charitable foundations “District #1,” and “Help e.V.” took on the important mission and supplied essential equipment and resources to 500 people, carefully tailored to the unique needs of each resident whose home had been impacted by military aggression.
