+1849 humanitarian boxes to support people with limited mobility in Kharkiv

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, many regions, including Kharkiv, have suffered severe damage. Constant shelling has destroyed infrastructure, leaving thousands of people without access to basic resources such as food and hygiene products. The situation is particularly difficult for people with limited mobility and lonely people who are unable to provide themselves with the most basic necessities on their own. Their daily lives have become a struggle for survival.

It is for such people that our District #1 team, in partnership with the non-profit organisation Terra Tech, has implemented a humanitarian project to provide food and hygiene kits. During April-July 2024, we carried out two stages of packing the aid.

The first stage consisted of 643 hygiene and 395 food kits, and the second – 641 hygiene and 170 food kits. In total, we have collected and delivered 1,284 hygiene and 565 food packages.

This assistance was received by 2,506 beneficiaries, mostly single people with limited mobility from Kharkiv and the surrounding areas. Thanks to our partners from the NGO ‘I am saved’, who took over the organisation of targeted delivery, we were able to ensure the timely and safe delivery of these sets to the recipients.

This project is part of our ongoing efforts to support the war-affected population. That is why each box is not just a set of goods, but a reminder that our people are there to help.
